North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency personnel dredged Sunter Garden connecting (phb) channel on Jalan Sunter Agung Utara, RT 05/18, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district.

Tanjung Priok Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Deny Tri Hendarto stated, garbage and mud sedimentation had been dredged from the channel to optimize its capacity in order to anticipate arrival of rainy season.

"Dredging work has been carried out since September 3, 2021 and is targeted to be completed by the end of September," he asserted.
In preventing inundation in the region, his side will also normalize Bisma phb channel.
"We will also clean channels in 19 RTs of RW 18. We target to clean all channels by the end of October 2021," he mentioned.
